Throughout this time, we will be introducing new measures to ensure the safety of both our customers and staff, and we ask for your patience and cooperation as we implement these changes. Social Distancing: For the safety of our customers and staff: 1. When in store please maintain a minimum of 1.5 meters between yourself, our staff and other customers at all times. 4. As we are currently experiencing higher than usual script volumes and waiting times, we ask that you please leave the store and return once your script has been dispensed to avoid unnecessary crowding within the store. 5. As the situation progresses, we may be operating on more restricted rosters as we try and minimise exposure to our staff, during this time we ask you to please be patient, whilst we do everything we can to maintain the best service we can offer. If you cannot or do not wish to physically visit the store due to health concerns, there are a number of ways we can provide you with your medication needs: 1. Please phone the store, where we can discuss your medication needs, refill scripts that we have on file and arrange delivery. 2. You can download the free MedAdvisor app the smartphone app that allows you to manage, order and pay for your scripts online. The app also allows you to take photos of your scripts if we do not have a copy on file. You can then either arrange to pick your scripts up from our collection point, or have them delivered. 3. We can also work with your doctor to have your scripts sent to our store for dispensing and delivery. Regarding product availability and limitations: 1. Specific changes to pharmacy regulations include: A. Salbutamol Inhalers provided on an over-the-counter basis will now require the pharmacist to confirm the supply is appropriate for the customer and label and record the dispensing of the product. B. All paediatric paracetamol products are now to be kept behind the dispensary counter to ensure the even and fair distribution of this product. C. Pharmacists will be required to limit the dispensing of certain prescription products to 1 month's supply at the prescribed dose, they will communicate this to you at the time of dispensing if this effects your medications. 2. Due to a high demand of certain products we will limit the sale of some over the counter items to a quantity of 1 or 2 units at a time. This is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the medicines they require, and will be governed by the discretion of our pharmacists and management team. 3. We are currently experiencing high demand for certain products in our store, and as such we are out of stock of toilet paper, tissues and hand sanitiser, amongst other products. We are doing everything we can to work with our suppliers and replenish stocks as quickly as we can. As this situation is constantly changing, we will be implementing new measures as required and as such our pharmacy procedures may change with little warning. Our staff are dedicated to keeping you up to date with all changes to our operations as well as the latest industry information as best we can. We will continue to deliver the best service we can to keep you and your family safe and healthy throughout this challenging time. If you require further information regarding the symptoms, testing and treatment of Covid-19 we ask that you contact your local hospital, or phone the Corona virus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080. - The Bush Chemist Management Team.
